The representative of Besiktas Shipyard in Germany, Peter Gast Shipping has been successfully organizing Schiffahrtsregatta for 39 years, remaining as the biggest privately organised sailing regatta in shipping. Last weekend more than 70 sail boats and over 600 shipping folk turned out for sailing, which started on Kappeln in Germany and ended on the Danish island Aero in the Baltic Sea.

Besiktas is one of the traditional sponsors of the event for a decade, and this year our board member Derya Sabaz represented Besiktas Shipyard, at the regatta, competed in S/Y Outsider team.
